Delta Plaza Mall is an enclosed shopping mall located in Escanaba, Michigan, in the United States. The mall is anchored by ShopKo and Jo-Ann Fabrics; it features approximately 15 stores and a food court. Delta Plaza Mall is owned by Rubloff Development.

History[]

The mall opened in November 1970, featuring two anchor stores - a Red Owl supermarket and a large Woolworth. Red Owl later closed and became J. C. Penney. Also in the 1980s, a wing was added to the mall, featuring a small food court, as well as Jo-Ann Fabrics and ShopKo. Dunham's Sports also opened around the same time. Woolworth's large space eventually was occupied a Menard's home improvement store. Menard's has relocated to a new store 2 blocks west of the mall, and JC Penney has closed.

While Delta Plaza Mall is not a dead mall, it does have a few vacancies, mostly in the food court. From around 2004 to 2006, no actual food tenants operated in the food court, though a bank and a customer service desk were located there. One food tenant has since opened in the food court as of January, 2018.
